Do I need a landscape design before planting?
For anything bigger than a bed or two, it helps. A plan makes sure the plants, stone, lighting and lawn work together and that nothing outgrows its spot in five years. Austin studied landscape design at Iowa State University and draws the plan with you.
What plants do you use in the Quad Cities?
Plants that can take an Iowa winter and a hot, humid summer, placed for the sun and soil in your yard. We will talk through what you like and what is low maintenance.
Do you install landscape lighting?
Yes. Landscape lighting is one of our regular services. Lighting a patio, a path, steps or a wall makes the yard safer and lets you use it after dark.
Can you tear out old, overgrown shrubs?
Yes. Trimming, tear outs and pruning shrubs are all on our service list, so we can clear out what is not working and replant in the same visit.
Do you install sod and seed after a project?
Yes. Seeding and sod installation are regular services, so the lawn around a new patio, wall or bed gets finished too.
